Valiant is defined as possessing or showing courage or determination. Within Valiant, there are two themes representing both aspects which describe its title.

Theme A represents determination, supplying the energetic drive required to push through any obstacle and become victorious when one reaches the other side.

Where Theme B represents courage, providing the strength to face the pain and grief which results from said obstacles.

The beauty in this piece comes not from one theme more than the other but the marriage of the two themes working together. Valor is usually attributed to a person, but through the themes, if courage and determination are demonstrated, this piece can too, be Valiant.
