To The Stars takes the listener on a celestial voyage. It is a piece which embodies the grandeur and excitement of the vast unknown.
This piece was inspired by my first sighting of a shooting star. As I was looking out the window of my bedroom one evening, I saw a star zip across the night sky. Although the star was visible for only a quick second, within that moment, I felt time stop. I was enlightened and full of wonder; where has the star been? Where was it going? In awe of the shooting star I realized how fast moments in our lives pass by, but at the same time each, second of every moment lies an eternity of adventure, excitement, love, and happiness.
There is something magical about space, something ... unreal. It provides so many questions without giving any answers yet, the answers are there. All we must do, is look To The Stars.
